INAUGURATION OF NEW SRI PUTHIGE VIDYAPEETA BRANCH at SRI GOVERDHANA SRI KRISHNA SANNIDHANA, SRi PUTHIGE MATHA, BENGALURU
Jagadguru Sri Madhwacharya Moola Samsthana, Sri Upendra Theertha Peeta, Sri Puthige Matha Peetadhipathi - His Holiness Dr Sri Sri 1008 Sugunendra Theertharu inaugurated new branch of Sri Puthige Vidyapeeta at Sri Goverdhana Sri Krishna Sannidhana, Sri Puthige Matha, Bengaluru. There are 12 Students who are part of 1st batch who will pursue Vedic studies along with their Loukika education.
To begin with Classes will be held everyday from 5:30 to 7:30AM and then in evening from 6:30 to 8pm. Sri Swamigalu has been repeatedly reminding Brahmin community about need for Vedic education & Shastra studies as a very important ritual in life & one that needs to be inculcated very early in student life. Sri Swamigalu's dream to see more & more Brahmin community embrace this Vidyapeeta model whereby we dedicate some hours in our daily life for Vedic Studies.
There are 4 teachers who have been appointed to teach the students. Some faculty are coming from Tirupati Sanskrit University. Subsequently Sri Matha Vidwans & experts from larger Madhwa community will teach these students as they progress.
Students will be given recognised certificate after completion of 3, 5, 7, 9 & 12 year education from this Vidyapeeta. As you may be aware Sri Puthige Vidyapeeta has been in existence for last 38 years in Udupi & is recognised by all relevant Vedic University & affiliate.
Today Shanti Paata was conducted by Sri Swamigalu & then teacher started teaching with ' Sree Sooktha'
